Parents Information

Active parental interest in all aspects of schoolwork is a great encouragement to a child. The most successful children have the support and guidance of caring adults.

Parents and School

Parents are always welcome in our school. We have many ways in which parents or grandparents can help, from hearing children read to coming with us on school outings as additional support. Please contact the school if you are able to lend a hand. Please note, as with all staff, parent/helpers are subject to a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

Important Things to Remember:

  • To let the School Office know of any changes in contact details: Always inform us of any changes in your home or work place contact numbers and address, so that we can contact you quickly if the need arises.
  • That your child must not bring toys into school: Only if a specific request is made by the teacher, eg toys for a classroom display, can your child bring toys into school. Arguments amongst children sometimes arise over lost, broken or swapped toys.
