Classrooms

Both of  the classrooms provide great learning spaces for the children based upon building independence, responsibility and self discovery. Both classrooms have working walls for English and Maths which aid the children with their work. There are also Topic boards which will proudly display work that the children have created.

Our Learning this half term

Our topic this half term is Bright Lights, Big City. To begin our topic we are having an English Tea party. The children will be designing and making their own sandwiches to eat. During this Topic we will be learning about modern London and travelling back in time to discover what happened during the Great Fire of London. This will link to our English work where we will be exploring and writing our own non-fiction texts about London.

Memorable Experience

On Friday the children made their own sandwiches and then ate them at our English tea party. The children enjoyed eating their sandwiches, some crisps and even scones with jam and cream.
